Our Story
Flux & Flow was born from lived experience, deep reflection, and a defining personal moment that transformed concern into purpose.
For years, feminine care had been an area of personal sensitivity and conscious awareness. With naturally sensitive skin, the Founder experienced firsthand that product quality was never something to compromise — it was essential. What touches one of the most intimate parts of a woman’s body matters. Equally important is what is returned to the earth.
Over time, troubling patterns became impossible to ignore — chemically treated products becoming the norm, discomfort accepted as part of womanhood, growing environmental waste from disposable menstrual products filling our landfills, and countless girls missing school simply because safe period care was out of reach.
What first appeared to be individual struggles revealed a much deeper reality — one affecting dignity, health, confidence, and opportunity for millions of women and girls.
Then came the moment that changed everything.
When the Founder’s daughter began her menstrual journey at just 11 years old, she did so in silence. For two months, she quietly navigated the experience alone, using what was available without guidance or conversation. When she finally spoke, it sparked a profound realization:
“If a child in a supported home could suffer in silence, how many other girls were facing the same reality — without access, without education, and without support?”
That moment became the catalyst for something bigger.
It raised urgent questions about the safety of conventional sanitary products, particularly for young, developing bodies. It challenged the widespread use of synthetic materials, fragrances, and harsh chemicals in products designed for the most sensitive part of a woman’s body. And it exposed a larger issue — limited menstrual education, and the lack of safe, sustainable period care and period poverty.
From that realization, Flux & Flow was born.
